TN GOVT"S LATEST POLICY ON SHIFTING OF ASSEMBLY BLDG
Posted: September 8th, 2011, 8:42 pmThe new AIADMK Government has announced the shifting of New Assembly building which was completed during the last regime to the old Assembly in St. George Fort . Later , the Government announced that the new building will be converted as the Hospital of AIMS Standard. It is my suggestion that the Government should think to lease out the new assembly to various multinational companies on long term lease by which they can collect a huge amount on lease.
Instead of centralizing the facilities in one place , the Government can use the amount collected by way of lease and plan to have smaller hospitals ( each consisting of 250 beds) in all the district head quarters in order to give medical facilities throughout the state. By this real fruits can be benefited by the poor people who are not in a position to travel to Chennai for treatment.
