OLD AGE

I wish to share my views on old age with you all. I request you to follow this in your life - whoever reads this.
When you are young, you are ready to do anything for the well being of your children.
When you become old, you trouble the same loved ones for your survival.
As long as you are hale and healthy, try to be away from your children, in a different city or town or village and visit them once in two months. This you can follow as long as possible in your life. When you become 75+, move out of the village or town and go near your children, but live separately. This is necessitated by two constraints, living space in cities and work culture. Your son or daughter may leave the home at 8 am and return at 8 pm.
They may not have time for themselves. Then where is the time for you.
Visit them and let them visit you once in 10 days. Be happy.
When you fall sick and become immobile, then be dependent on your children.
In the case of many parents, the children are in foreign countries. This should not bother you. Till you are 75 you can visit those countries.
Another important point is that you should keep working, of course, at leisurely pace and keep earning something for your petty expenses.
This suggestion will help people in their 50s and 60s.
Don't forget that you have 20 + years of life, after 60.
Be bold and don't feel aged.
Note: The forum does not give me scope to write this anywhere except under health care. I think there should be scope for topics like this in Acham thavir.com. Where can I write all this? I solicit a reply in this regard.
