Many people talk ill of Government organisations and institutions in India. They should understand one thing. A private institution caters to a few people whereas a Government institution serves many people, in fact the entire nation. There may be some short comings. But the way people in Government work is to be seen to be believed. Most of the officials are responsible enough, conscious of their duty and delivering. Instead of blaming the Government officials, we should go by procedure. We commit some of the following mistakes, generally.
1. When any application needs to be filled in some office, we often don't have the patience to go through and read the application.
2. We generally don't wish to stand in ques and wait for our turn.
3. We urge the official to complete the job immediately.
4. We often quarrel with the official.
5. We don't go to the official directly but we approach touts.
6. We try to bribe the officials even for small works done.
7. We try to get the work done through influence and out of the way.
Let us avoid all this.
